Shawn P. Martinez is a self-taught artist native of Denver, CO, where he is currently based. He is most known for his graffiti art style. He likes to draw inspiration from cartoons, street art, and lettering.

Throughout his work, you'll often find street symbols and phrases, skateboarding, snowboarding, the Colorado Rocky Mountains, and Colorado's infamous state flag; all symbols of the environment through which he has grown up in. Posca pens, paint pens, Microns, Sharpie markers, and spray paint are often his weapons of choice as he likes the way they glide, the smoothness of the application, and the cartoon-graffiti style you can accomplish using vibrant flat-based mediums.

When he is feeling inspired, Shawn likes to get the creative juices flowing by shutting himself in his art studio and blasting music through his headphones in order to maintain the perfect focus. He likes to take his time on a piece and will often sit for hours until a piece is to perfection.

Shawn gives credit and glory to God for blessing him with the amazing talent and skills to be able to create such incredible artwork. Shawn looks forward to ambitions dedicated to becoming a better, well-rounded artist and perfecting his abilities with the hope of sharing his work with the world.
