Jesse Wilson is an artist known for creating intimate portraits of intriguing figures and entrancing scenes using charcoal and graphite. He is a self-taught portrait artist based in northern Colorado and has honed his original style through independent experimentation and refinement.

 

During his early adult years, Jesse found solace and inspiration in art class among like-minded peers. However, it was not until after experiencing personal tragedy and hardship that he began to produce a series of works in 2017 that were infused with raw emotion and artistic expression, unlike anything he had previously created. The macabre figures in these portraits seemed to take on a life of their own during their creative processes.

 

At the moment, Jesse gains inspiration from the significance or intention behind each artwork, creating these unique and evocative pieces into existence.
